Japan Eco Product Fair 2007

Japan Eco Product Fair is happening at the moment at Big Site in Tokyo. It is the biggest Eco Friendly Product and Technology exhibition in Japan. It is really big that I can't even visit all the exhibitions in one day. Below are some of the interesting development and technology I found yesterday.


A new Toyota Prius, Plug-in. Now you can charge the car with electric beside let it drink the gasolin.


Mitsubishi MiEV. An electric car. You can just charge it with normal electric supply.


Honda Fuel Cell Car

A concept car of Nissan called "PIVO 2". The wheel can move both vertical and horinzontal. It is very cute and attractive.

The interior of PIVO 2. The round shape thing beside the display panel is a robot. They might got the idea from Star Wars.

Measuring the CO2 emitted and absorp by the green house plant in the Eco Product Fair. The lady who took pucture just get in the green house and cause a spike in the CO2.



A play about energy saving from Tokyo Gas. They are very good actors.




A fuel cell Bike



Superconductive material showing the power. The magnet is spinning above the material, and without the air resistence, it will spin forever.

New electric bike from Yamaha.

In future, you can generate electric from your bowl of rice. One bowl equal to 64 batteries.

The authorities have squarely blamed Indonesian farmers and plantation workers, who are clearing the land using slash-and-burn methods that have been banned since 1999. The number of hot spots in Sumatra surged from 351 to 531 on Saturday, before dipping to 360 yesterday, according to the Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG).
